Во вторник, 7 июня, на стадионе академии «Спартак» состоялся матч за 3 место финального турнира Первенства России по футболу среди команд спортивных школ 2002 года рождения. «Локомотив» уверенно переиграл ЦСКА стал бронзовым призёром турнира!
«Железнодорожники» с первых минут взяли инициативу в свои руки и побежали вперед. Уже на 4-й минуте матча Матвеев головой вколотил мяч в сетку ворот ЦСКА после розыгрыша углового! Но останавливаться на достигнутом «железнодорожники» не планировали. Осада ворот соперника продолжалась и спустя 13 минут Максим Турищев, получив разрезающую передачу из глубины от Шмакова, уверенно переиграл голкипера армейцев! Хорошо провели железнодорожники остаток тайма, отрабатывая на всех участках поля, несмотря на накопившуюся усталость. На перерыв команды ушли при счёте 2:0 в пользу «Локомотива».
Во втором тайме «Локомотив» играл по счёту, надежно действуя в центре поля и ища лазейки в обороне соперника. В одной из атак Турищеву удалось оформить дубль! Оказавшись первым на подборе, Максим обработал мяч и пробил в нижний угол ворот - голкипер армейцев в этом эпизоде был бессилен. Результат выступления команды на турнире прокомментировал директор Академии «Локомотива» Алексей Щиголев:
– Мне бы хотелось говорить не только об итоговом результате, но и отдельно о полуфинальной встрече со «Спартаком». Поражение с таким крупным счетом – недопустимая оплошность. Команда уровня Академии «Локомотива» не должна так проигрывать. После финального свистка было видно, что ребята тоже не особо довольны – это наше общее мнение. Задача у нас была одна: выиграть Первенство.
Начиная с 1/4 финала, на Первенстве выступают команды достаточно серьезного уровня. Мы увидели уровень ребят, на которых всерьёз рассчитываем: кто-то его подтвердил, кому-то ещё необходимо много работать. Но я убеждён, что мы выбрали правильное направление развития Академии. Для ребят 2002 года рождения это первый подобный турнир и, надеюсь, в следующие годы мы будем выступать более удачно. Причём не только по общекомандным результатам, но и индивидуально. Нам важны не столько регалии, сколько пополнение молодёжного и основного составов квалифицированными футболистами.
